You can prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Stay at a healthy weight, eat well and be active. With these steps, you can stay healthier longer and lower your risk of diabetes.

Staying at a healthy weight can help you prevent and manage problems like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, unhealthy cholesterol, and high blood glucose.
Healthy Eating
Eating healthy is one of the most important things you can do to lower your risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
Physical Activity
Physical activity can do a lot for you, even if you haven’t been very active lately.

Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes muscle pain and fatigue (feeling tired). People with fibromyalgia have pain and tenderness throughout the body.
People with fibromyalgia may also have other symptoms, such as:

Trouble sleeping

Morning stiffness
-
Headaches
-
Painful menstrual periods
-
Tingling or numbness in hands and feet

Problems with thinking and memory (sometimes called “fibro fog”).
A person may have two or more coexisting chronic pain conditions. Such conditions can include chronic fatigue syndrome, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, inflammatory bowel disease, interstitial cystitis, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and vulvodynia. It is not known whether these disorders share a common cause.
